Joshua Lanier serves as Executive Director of The Bridges of Hendricks Creek. A native of nearby Scotland Neck, he knows the heart of small-town life—where no one is a stranger, only a neighbor.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from East Carolina University and brings prior experience in law enforcement, public service, and healthcare. Throughout his career, Josh has focused on service-oriented leadership and person-centered relationships which honor each individual’s story, needs, and dignity.
Raised by his grandparents in a large, close-knit family, Josh values the sense of belonging that a true community provides. His goal is to foster an environment of excellence and trust—one that creates lasting positive ripple effects for residents, families, staff, and the broader Tarboro area.

Maris Price, currently serving as the Business Office Coordinator, began her career in healthcare a decade ago as a CNA and Med Tech. In these early roles, she quickly developed a passion for caring for others and making a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors. Over the past decade, she has gained valuable experience in both direct resident care and the administrative side of senior living. For the past three years, she has had the privilege of being part of The Bridges of Hendricks Creek, where she is grateful to work alongside an amazing team dedicated to serving residents and their families. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and relaxing at the river.

Zack Keeter, holding the position of Sales Manager, has dedicated more than four years to the senior living industry, where he has held a variety of leadership roles. His experience includes serving as Assistant Executive Director and Executive Director, and he currently serves as Sales Manager for the community.
Zack earned his bachelor’s degree from Campbell University. He is committed to building meaningful relationships with residents, families, and community partners, and takes pride in making a positive impact on those he serves.
Outside of work, he enjoys sports, hunting, and fishing—and most of all, spending time with his wife and daughter.

Amber Cale, our Life Enrichment Coordinator, is passionate about creating meaningful experiences, building connections, and making a positive difference in the lives of our residents. Amber enjoys planning engaging activities, celebrating special moments, and helping foster a warm, welcoming sense of community for our residents. Holding a Bachelor of Science in Recreational Therapy and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Amber holds a strong passion for supporting others and creating opportunities that promote engagement, connection, and quality of life. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her fiancé, traveling, and making memories with her dogs.

Dawn Simone, serving as our Resident Care Coordinator, is a truly remarkable woman whose compassion, resilience, and leadership have transformed our community. With family at the core of her life, and a proud New Jersey native, Dawn is a devoted mother of two and a loving grandmother to two grandchildren which are her greatest joy and make life outside of work especially meaningful.

Spending long hours ensuring our residents receive the highest quality care, her support and devotion create a space where our care staff feel valued and empowered while our families feel secure that their loved one is receiving compassionate care.
